List of Tools The list of Tools that are being used to disseminate the 2008 Population and Housing Census data are: 1. Hard print outs for handouts through our customer services center 2. LISGIS Website –www.lisgis.org 3. The LiberiaInfo, a customized version of the DevInfo 4. The Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) and the CensusInfo 11/23/2018 LISGIS
Production of Indicators Using the direct method, have successfully computed 169 indicators Other indicators such as infant and maternal Mortalities, etc. will be calculated indirectly at time of the data analysis. 11/23/2018 LISGIS
Achievements Successfully uploaded the CensusInfo with the 169 indicators Trained about 34 individuals from LISGIS and other line ministries/agencies how to use the CensusInfo Successfully use the IMIS to directly compute 169 indicators Attempts are being made to link the IMIS and CensusInfo 11/23/2018 LISGIS
Lessons Learnt Have learned that the CensusInfo is very useful for the dissemination of the census data as well as a very handy tool for policy decision-makers Have learned that the IMIS and the Censusinfo can be integrated, since they use the Excel to input data 11/23/2018
Way Forward Hand on national and regional training should be held in order to promote the CensusInfo as well as the dissemination of the 2008 census indicators. The IMIS and CensusInfo should be integrated, since the IMIS is used to calculate while the CensusInfo stores and retrieves 11/23/2018 LISGIS
