It was hosted by the government of Turkey and co-organized by the UNDP and the UNECE. Participating countries in the region reviewed the progress towards achieving the MDGs and shared country-specific best practices and lessons learned, the conference also provided an opportunity to explore the region-specific dynamics around the MDGs.
