KHPOP Kansas Health Profession Opportunity Project and KANSASWORKS!

KHPOP Eligibility Some clients will be referred from SRS TANF or SNAP recipient and those individuals at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline. Complete low income questions within demographics of KANSASWORKS!

KHPOP Enrollment The Kansas Health Profession Opportunity Project grant has been created as an enrollment in KANSASWORKS! New client – remember to complete demographics section Existing client – remember to review demographics and change eligibility date

KHPOP New Fields Within the demographics section, there is a field asking for the total income the family has received. Please enter the dollar amount without any decimal places and without any dollar symbols. Within the section about foster care, please notice that there is a new selection of “aging out of foster care”.

KHPOP Enrollment After completing the demographics section, proceed to the enrollment screen and enter the enrollment date

KHPOP Services The enrollment is now open and you can begin entering services

KHPOP Services Available services within the KHPOP enrollment are Adult Education and Literacy Activities Apprenticeship Assessment Interview Assessment Orientation Assessment Testing Basic Skill/Remedial Testing Case Management Child Care Assistance Comprehensive Assessment Customized Training

KHPOP Services Remember that services routinely need to have the status updated. Please update services when they change from scheduled, to in progress, to completed, etc. Please be aware that if these statuses are not updated, the client runs the risk of exiting the enrollment automatically.

KHPOP first visit Please start the following services for each client on first visit Workforce Information Services Initial Assessment Please schedule an IEP to be completed within the first 2 weeks of the enrollment

KHPOP Follow-up Through the life of the program, please follow-up with the client even after completion of the training program, up until they achieve employment. Do so by entering the follow-up service within the KHPOP enrollment.
