PARENT’S NOTES Playing time Youth recreational soccer focuses on the development of the player.  It is an opportunity for each child to learn individual skills and teamwork skills.  Youth recreational soccer is not focused on winning or losing; it is about each child playing to the best of his or her ability while having fun.  It is about rewarding effort.  Therefore, regardless of ability, each recreational player is guaranteed playing time during one half of each game. It is the coach’s responsibility to ensure that every child plays an appropriate amount of time.

PARENT’S ROLE

UNIFORMS Recreational Teams: Emails will come from Custserv@sportsendeavors.com (Sooccer.com) with ordering details for your kit. Kit cost will be about $40 plus S&H 2 Jerseys (Red and White) 1 Shorts (Blue) 1 Pair of Socks (Blue) If you do not need the whole kit you can purchase it by item. Shipping is about 2-3 weeks Other logo merchandise is available

TEAM ADMINISTRATOR Each team needs one to support the coach and the team Point of contact concerning questions and administrative stuff Let the coach coach and let the TA answer questions about schedule, snacks duty, what color uniform to wear (hint: always have both jerseys), what field the game is on, directions to fields, etc. Communication will be coming from TA (ideally)

ACADEMY SOCCER PROGRAM Training is one session per week during season, 30-45 minute each session! (Time subject to change season to season) o   Monday o   U10-12  practice from 5-5:45pm. o   U6 & U8 practice from 6-6:30pm. o   Wednesday for U4 practice from 5-5:30pm. This program will not conflict with your child’s recreational games.

COMPETITIVE SOCCER PROGRAM AIYS competitive team are formed each year through a tryout process. Dec-Jan for Spring May-June for Fall AIYS competitive program offer player at the U9 and older age groups the opportunity to play in a Gold Bronze or Silver level. Goal is to compete successfully statewide, regionally and potentially nationally.
