Details vary, but the fundamental process is as follows: 1. Identify customer needs. 2. Perform background research / benchmarking. 3. Generate project goals and performance specs. 4. Generate a list of potential solutions. 5. Analyze these solutions and select the most viable. 6. Complete a detailed design. 7. Implement and test the design. To help you succeed and to allow better evaluation of your work, we use this procedure as the MIME Capstone Design template. Your course grades for fall and winter are based on 1. How well the design process is followed 2. How well the design meets requirements
