HOW DO WE DO IT? TIME/ENERGY! TIME/ENERGY! Much of what the PTA does is a matter of parents putting in time and energy. Organizing, volunteering, making phone calls, sending letters. FUNDRAISING FUNDRAISING Some of what we do requires money: Ongoing Fundraising – Sally Foster, Ink Cartridge Recycling, Giant Eagle, Holiday Gift Shop, Bingo Unique Fundraising –Holiday Portraits, Personal Chef New Fundraising – Annual Campaign and Alumni Campaign

FUNDRAISING: WHERE DOES THE $ GO? How PTA monies were spent in in order of amount: Playground fund Enrichment funds Enrichment speakers (authors, musicians, etc.) Special Activities Falk Talk (6 to 8 issues per year) Holiday Gifts for Staff Excellence in Teaching Scholarship Fund Falk School Fund PTA meeting speakers Sunstein Fund End of Year Teacher's Lunch General Administrative Expenses New Parent Welcome

HOW TO GET INVOLVED? We depend on parents to get involved – it builds community, it sparks and supports friendships, and helps provide both the foundation and the uniqueness that make us Falk School! Attend the General PTA meetings Become a room parent, a library volunteer, or help at any of the year-round events Join the PTA Executive Committee – call Pam Greenhouse ( or to apprentice in a role this year or to jump right into a role next year!
