Educational Pathways: Trades and Technology High School College/Technical Institute complete training Levels 1-4 Apprenticeship Work University Bachelor of Technology

General Requirements: Trade Each Trade/School has its own specific academic requirements. English: English 12 (UFV) Communications 12 (Kwantlen, BCIT) Math: Program Dependent: Foundations ,Pre-calculus, A & W Math 11 Physics : Is recommended for some apprenticeship programs ( ie. electrician, gas fitting, plumbing) Pre-test: English, Math, and/or Mechanical reasoning tests. May be required by students currently completing pre-requisites.

General Requirements: Technical Each Technical program has its own specific academic requirements. English: English12, % will vary (competitive programs) Math: Dependent on Program Health Sciences: Pre-Calculus Computers/Engineering: Pre-Calculus Business: Any Math Please verify the math required for these programs

Other Things you need to know…or what is in the fine print UBC: Students wanting to complete an Arts degree, have an additional language requirement. This can be satisfied with a language 12 or a 1st year university level language. Requires a Final grade of 70% in grade 11 or 12 English Land and Food Systems recommends Physics 11 as it is required for some majors for the Applied Biology degree and the Food, Nutrition, and Health degree. SFU: Quantitative and Analytical requirements Math 11/12 required for Faculty admission: a minimum grade of 60% English 12: a minimum final blended grade of 60%
