3. GRADUATION TRANSITIONS COURSE
Personal Health - Planning 10, PE 10 and participate in at least 150 minutes per week of Daily Physical Activity (DPA) of moderate to vigorous physical activity, which may include PE 11 and/or PE 12.
Community Connections - participate in at least 30 hours of paid work experience and/or volunteer experience and describe what was learned.
Career and Life – counsellors meeting with students individually or in small groups to discuss Grad Transitions and complete online survey.

5. GRADE 12 STUDENTS ….. GRADUATING IN JUNE 2017
GRADUATION TRANSITIONS PROGRAM will not contribute to the calculation for honour roll.
Students will receive a REQUIREMENTS MET (RM) on their transcripts for semester one.
THIS IS A 4 CREDIT COURSE AND IS A REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION.

6. PSI- Post Secondary Information
Students should be thinking about different institutions they might want to attend and courses/areas of study they wish to pursue. To help with this we offer:
UBC rep was here on Wednesday Sept 21st
Post Secondary Institution Day (PSI Day) Friday Oct 14th 1-3pm
Recommended that EVERY grade 11/12 student attend. There will be two presentations and a mini-fair in the small gym.
Emily Carr University rep visit – Thurs Nov lunch
We encourage students/parents to attend Info sessions on campus

Plan on taking at least four (4) approved academic courses
for University programs. Your GPA is based on these 4.

Geology 12
* Nursing Langara – Eng12 (80%), Biology 11 or 12 (C+) , FoundationsMath 11 or PreCal 11 (C) plus Foundations in Health Studies (5 University level courses)
