Business Management University Pathways Program

Get qualified for university You've always believed you're capable. You just needed to find someone who shares your goals, understands your challenges and works by your side to overcome them. That's why our Business Management University Pathway Program has been specially designed for youth, like you, looking to build the skills and confidence to succeed at university no matter what your background. When you're finished, our University Pathways Program you would have me the minimum entry requirements to most of UTS undergraduate courses. There will also be course credit to help you fast-track your degree.

Business Management University Pathway Program The Business Management University Pathway Program prepares you for admission to an undergraduate course at UTS (University of Technology Sydney). It's free from course fees, available at our Bankstown Training Location and provides you the minimum entry requirements to: “The Faculty of Business-UTS”

First Step You must enrol and meet the conditions into the University Pathways Program into the Diploma of Management. Applicant Entry Requirements Participants aged between 17- 24 years old Must be a School leaver (or) Must be a Job seekers Must pass a LLN entry assessment Participants will need to sit an entry interview to determine suitability and the capacity to benefit from the program and the ability to complete the program successfully.

Course Outline Stage 1: Cert IV in Business The program will be delivered in three stages Stage 1: Cert IV in Business Stage 2: Diploma in Business Management Stage 3: Enrolment into a Bachelor

Certificate IV in Business Overview With our Cert IV in Business Course our experienced trainers help you gain the fundamental business skills and knowledge to successfully perform a wide range of duties in diverse industries. During your training you will have an opportunity to increase your skills in organising tasks, managing workplace information, producing business documents, delivering customer service, communicating effectively, fostering innovation and change, multitasking and prioritising effectively. Most importantly this course will give you strong foundation skills to strengthen your pathway into the Diploma of Management and then onto the Bachelor course at the University of Technology Sydney

Diploma of Management Overview This course is designed to provide you with the core leadership competencies required by contemporary managers. This qualification provides the essential skills and knowledge required by individuals to perform effectively as a manger in increasingly competitive and fast changing times. University Entry Requirements (UTS) Non Current School Leaver Applicants for the Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Arts and International Studies and Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Creative Intelligence.

University requirements If a student has not completed their HSC in Australia, it is a requirement to complete their certificate IV in Business in addition to pass an ILETs test at level 7. If the student completes a Diploma level qualification they will not need to undertake an ILET’s test. The certificate IV and Diploma in Business will need one year to be completed. The Diploma in Business will give you credit up to one year in UWS if you decide to do the bachelor of Business, or an Atar score of 70.

How Long Your University Course will take? Three Years full time or 6 years part time For an honours degree you will need to do one more year full time or two more years part time.
