6 What Types of Co-op Placements Are Available?

7 The Co-op Process Any grade 11 or 12 student at Earl Haig can take Co-op (possibly grade 10 depending on age) University bound students - best time to take Co-op is in Gr 11 September is spent preparing the Co-op students for their placement and interviewing for job positions Students then spend the rest of the year working at the job placement during the allocated Co-op periods on their timetable One Wednesday a month they come back to Earl Haig to share their experiences and gain valuable job skills A Co-op teacher will visit them on a regular basis and monitor progress with both the student and their work site supervisor Michael Canzi, ACL of Business Studies and Co-op
