2017 On the Ball Initiative On the Ball is a collaborative HSE initiative designed to refresh and re-energise HSE , with the ultimate goal of achieving goal zero. On the Ball provides the key framework for WorleyParsons HSE team to promote and drive HSE strategy improving the current mature HSE culture, behaviour and expectations. On the Ball will seamlessly aligns and integrates into current client processes, enhancing the already embedded HSSE culture, behaviours and expectations. The HSSE messaging within On the Ball is consistent with both client messaging and will continue to build on the strong HSSE foundation. The initiative’s revitalised approach along with continuous and sustainable messaging will provide a higher level of HSSE behaviour, engagement and ownership among managers, front line leaders and family alike.

On the Ball Focus Areas On the Ball targets 7 focus areas across health, safety, security and the environment which have associated improvements; these along with their measures of success are directly linked to the On the Ball HSE Deliverables. On the Ball Focus Areas: Site HSSE Committees Contractor organisations HSE visibility Toolbox talks HSE Monthly themes Family/Personal element Social media On the Ball newsletters and updates The 7 focus areas compliment the the client’s focus areas; routine work, high impact engagement and hazard recognition. Focus Areas Site HSSE Committees Promotion of HSE monthly topic and the On the Ball initiative. Work with site HSSE committee owners to promote the committee members function, roles and responsibilities within the work force. Uplift HSSE member’s confidence and role. Promote two way communications, HSSE representatives talking to staff and staff talking to HSE representatives about concerns and potential improvement opportunities. Outcome of communication survey. Increased visibility and awareness of site HSSE committee members. Increased effectiveness of HSSE committee members Contractor Organisations Front line business partners to provide WorleyParsons with a monthly update including; shared learnings, upcoming focus area, additional support required. Quality of monthly report. Increased visibility to contracting organisations HSE performance. Toolbox Talks ISC contractor organisations to contribute to the material and presentations. Provide supervisors and team leaders with ongoing coaching. Key personnel to attend and support eg; ISC HSE forum members. Provide weekly toolbox notes in support of the monthly topic. Leadership Visits A leadership visit schedule will be confirmed in advance and provided to the client Activity Managers to ensure visibility for scheduled visits (refer Appendix 2). Training provided for contract holders and key staff inducing the ISC HSE forum on the client’s high impact engagement sessions. Ongoing coaching and support provided. HSE Monthly themes Provide input into the selection of the the client HSE monthly themes based on leading and lagging analysis and identifying trends that require addressing. ISC contractor organisations to participate in the material and delivery of HSE monthly theme on sites. Provide regular toolbox notes in support of the monthly topic providing a more sustained approach. Family / Personal Element Quarterly or seasonal competitions (photos, colouring in etc) to encourage safety 24/7 365 days. Consider a community element eg On the Ball at local schools etc.   Social Media To promote HSE communication, will include; discussion topics, question and answer forum, promotion of monthly themes, recognition of success etc. Online Facebook measuring tool ‘likes’ and ‘share’. On the Ball Newsletters and Updates Collate and distribute On the Ball updates via a newsletter, to include; leading and lagging indicator scoreboard, upcoming focus, monthly theme, family element etc. Updates/notices issued as required to promote good practice, upcoming events etc.

On the Ball Collaboration The On the Ball initiative ensures a ‘bottom up’ and ‘top down’ approach is established and implemented taking input from all aspects of the workforce. The tiered approach seeks input from field staff in the first instance. The tiered approach seeks input from field staff in the first instance. Two groups have been established to drive the initiative; a working group and a steering group. The working group is made up of representatives from WorleyParsons, the client, ISC HSE Forum members from contracting organisations and field staff from an ISC contractor organisation. The purpose of the group is to provide: Feedback from contractors and contractor organisations relating to On the Ball initiatives Review of KPI’s, deliverable data and reports Suggestions and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives Facilitate and coordinate On the Ball communications, surveys, events, initiatives Contribute to the management of the On the Ball Facebook page Recommendations to the On the Ball Steering Group, including next quarters focus areas The steering group is made up of representatives from WorleyParsons, the client and the contracting organisations. The purpose of this group is to provide: Review, approve or decline recommendations from the On the Ball Working Group Direction for the On the Ball Working Group and the initiatives direction Agree improvements for the initiatives Allocate required resource In addition to the two groups, feedback and input from field staff will be collected via the site HSSE committees, surveys and onsite discussions will be fed into the working group for inclusion.

Modern Meaningful Communication The On the Ball Facebook page aims to modernize HSE communication, to engage and encourage participation in HSE conversation. The page is set up as a person which is managed by a local administrator, only approved people are accepted as a friend and all comments are reviewed and monitored daily. The topics on the page align to the messages communicated on site along with authority updates (WorkSafe), weather reports, civil defense messages etc. The posters, sideline assistance etc include local content where possible. Posters include pictures taken on site of people working and local landmarks, this aims to encourage ownership from staff and create general interest. On the Ball Facebook Page Material includes local content
