Leader Accountability 4-Hour Leader Training Perform Exercises with your staff on the unit / department Identify/Use Case Examples LIVING DIReCT Incorporate into Mid-Year Review Annual WBT Spring 2018 PE 2018 Senior Leader: - Four Hour Training: formal education rolled out to all staff and faculty leaders. You will experience key concepts to embrace personally and then “teachback” or facilitate those same exercises with your team. Perform Exercises: you will receive all the exercises in the training today. They have been made available on paper and on the Enterprise Learning SharePoint site for download. We ask that every leader work through all the exercises with their staff between now and the end of the FY. These will serve as practical tools to have conversations that “drive” and improve our daily work and environment. Identify/Use Case Examples: today you will experience real examples of our employees Living DIReCT. You will be empowered with finding your own and then identifying opportunities within your unit to share those. You will also empower your staff to begin identifying ways in which they are already collectively living the values. Mid-Year Review: importantly, you will want to introduce the values as a part of next year’s PE process. Behavioral Expectations will be removed and the values will replace those. Annual WBT 2018: as you know in our annual WBTs, we revisit our mission, vision and now values. All staff will annually receive this formal touch point as a mechanism to reinforce the values. PE 2018: the performance process will include evaluation on how our employees are living the values and everyone should be prepared for that. TRANSITION TO NEXT SLIDE—living the values requires us all to reflect on our own and collective core behaviors. I mentioned you will be empowered today to identify personal examples of how you Live DIReCT. I would like to share my own.

Living DIReCT - COM How does this look in the COM?
