EcoGenes will reinforce the capabilities of Doñana Biological Station (EBD-CSIC) to face the challenges posed by the impact of global change in the Mediterranean region by:

Creating a cooperation platform of similar institutions of Europe and the Mediterranean region to exchange experiences, share standards and data, and promote training of experts.

We have selected an integrative approach that combine multiple tools and theoretical frameworks demanded by our stakeholders and managed by all our research lines: Genetics and Genomics Ecological Modelling Ecophysiology

Loss of biodiversity will be the common thread of all proposed actions
