FAQ – Certified Registered Safety Professional Can I just pay a registration fee and get a designation? NO! The program evaluates the combination of experience, education and competency in those areas deemed critical for successful safety professionals. Experience and education are evaluated against standards and competency is determined through standardized testing against a published Book of Knowledge. The credibility and success of the program is dependent upon its integrity and transparency which is monitored by the independent Board of Directors of the ISSP. What are the levels of Certification? The program maintains three levels of progressively more stringent qualifications, including Basic, Diamond and Platinum levels. Each level requires an increasing level of professional education and competency on top of successful completion of the exam administered by the ISSP. How do I apply for the certification?
