16 “Canada’s Association of Information Technology (IT) Professionals.” Certification Overall Requirements: Appropriate mastery of the CIPS Body of Knowledge (BOK); Adherence to the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct; CIPS Membership (Note: One can apply for the I.S.P. designation without being a CIPS member, but active membership must be held in order to hold and use the I.S.P. designation); Sponsorship by two relevant sponsors; andrelevant sponsors A minimum of 1000 hours of professional work experience during the 12 months prior to submitting the application.A minimum of 1000 hours of professional work experience CIPS Professionalism

22 “Canada’s Association of Information Technology (IT) Professionals.” Choose this route if you: –have passed either the Institute for Certification of Computer Professional (ICCP) exams leading to the Certified Computing Professional or equivalent or the British Computer Society (BCS) Diploma or Professional Graduate exams.
