Conjunction-definition A word used to join words or groups of words Examples: Would you rather have shrimp or salmon? I love school and learning.

Coordinating Conjunctions Joins words or word groups that are used in the same way FANBOYS For And Nor But Or Yet So

Correlative Conjunctions Pairs of conjunctions that join words or word groups that are used in the same way Both…and Either…or Neither…nor Not only…but also Whether…or Example: Both Zina and Jada can play the mandolin.

Interjection-Definition Word used to express emotion Interjections have no grammatical relation to other words in the sentence. Usually an interjection is followed by an exclamation point. Sometimes an interjection is set off by a comma or commas

Examples Hey! Did you see those deer? Well, we played hard and did our best. We could, oh, have a picnic.
