Emergency Call With Team on the Run, users can make emergency PTT calls to a preset list of recipients, informing them about critical situations. The feature is designed mainly for police, military and security forces but can also be used for the personal safety of employees. 2017 ©

Activate Feature on Web Company Admin 2017 ©

Set status & recipients list 1 Emergency Call and its related features are activated by the company administrator: Settings  Emergency PTT Group Call  set Emergency Call Status: − Inactive − Active 2. If set to Active, the Emergency Call Recipients pop-up is displayed. Select users and click arrow to add to the recipients list. 2 Set recipients list (mandatory, otherwise feature will not work) Notes: - If the Push-to-Talk option is Inactive on Web Company Admin, the Emergency Call is disabled by default. - If Emergency Call is enabled, these settings are always set to ACTIVE and cannot be changed: - Display the group "All" containing all company users in user's contacts list - Allow communication between users that cannot see each other in the company list

Auto-Fallback to Emergency cellular call 3 3. The Automatic Fallback to Emergency Cellular Call option can be activated in case user has poor or no data connection when launching the TOTR Emergency call. TOTR will automatically open the Cellular call app and make a cellular emergency call. 4. Set to Active, enter emergency number (e.g.: 112 for Europe, 911 for US) and click Save. 4

Emergency message auto-trigger 5 5. An emergency message can be automatically sent along with an emergency call thanks to Activate auto-trigger of emergency message. 6. Emergency Message status  choose Standard or Custom Message. 7. Set the Emergency Message Recipients list (differs from Emergency Call Recipients) 6 7 NOTE: this option is only available if companies have the Emergency Message and Emergency Call options. - If Emergency Message Status is set to Standard, users will not be able to choose from one of the 3 messages, instead a CRITICAL message will be automatically sent when making an emergency call.

From the app Conversation created after Emergency Call launch; includes all the users set as recipients on Web Company Admin. A new conversation is created each time a user launches an Emergency Call 2. Outgoing call screen (displayed users are those from the recipient list) 1. Long press to launch Emergency Call (duration configurable by admin) Emergency Call ends if none of the recipients answer after a number of seconds. 3. Location is sent as attachment (if the device’s location services are active)

Bad internet connection Fallback to emergency cellular call In case there’s a bad internet connection, Team on the Run will make a standard cellular call: − No mobile data: a pop-up with the emergency number set on Web Company Admin is displayed. Click to call. − Server connection fails: app tries to establish a connection for 30 seconds after which the call ends. User is redirected to the phone dialer. Bad internet connection

Automatically send emergency messages − TOTR users can send standard or custom emergency messages to a preset list of recipients − The feature can be linked to the emergency call by activating the auto-trigger of emergency message (shown on slide 5) − Each time a user makes an emergency call, a “Critical” message is also sent Emergency message conversation Emergency call conversation Emergency message conversation includes all recipients set on Web Company Admin User’s location is sent as attachment

Receive emergency messages A notification is sent to the list of recipients for Emergency Message (different than the recipients list for emergency call). From this notification they can: − Call the user − Start a conversation − Locate the user (if Geolocation is enabled) After recipient acknowledges the alert, user has to deactivate it before being able to send another one. On mobile – app is running − Loud warning sound is played for the incoming emergency call − Emergency call takes priority over all other ToM calls: − VoIP and PTT calls are cut − If connected to PTT channels, recipient is put ON HOLD on each channel and reconnected once emergency call ends − PTT automatic response is disabled by default for Emergency PTT call Incoming call screen Call answered Note: cellular calls are not affected by the emergency call

On mobile – app is running Access to the conversation automatically created : − Click on the attachment to locate the sender of the alert − Use of the ‘Where are you’ feature to locate the user if the recipient is also a dispatcher (mobile rights) − Missed PTT call : Recipient can make a new PTT call with the sender and other recipients Missed emergency call notification (no location services on device or Geolocation) Click on map or the Geolocation icon to locate alert sender Click here to call back Group conversation includes all recipients of Emergency Call

On mobile – app not running − A notification is displayed on the lock screen (if enabled from phone settings) − If user has enabled Geolocation, a second notification about his location is received − When notification is pressed the incoming emergency PTT screen is displayed
