Avoir in the present tense + past participle = passé composé Example: parler past participle = parlé j’ai + parlé = j’ai parlé (I spoke, I did speak) tu as + parlé = tu as parlé (you spoke, you did speak) il a + parlé = il a parlé (he spoke, he did speak) elle a + parlé = elle a parlé (she spoke, she did speak) nous avons + parlé = nous avons parlé (we spoke, we did speak) vous avez + parlé = vous avez parlé (you spoke, you did speak) ils ont + parlé = ils ont parlé (they spoke, they did speak) elles ont + parlé = elles ont parlé (they spoke, they did speak) Do you get it now?

Try it again! use FINIR FINI Example: finir Past Participle = Conjugate! j’ nous tu vous il ils elle elles on FINI ai fini as fini a fini avons fini avez fini ont fini Are you finally getting it?!?!

One more time…… use vendre Example: vendre Past Participle = VENDU Conjugate! j’ nous tu vous il ils elle elles on ai vendu as vendu a vendu avons vendu avez vendu ont vendu
