Evaluation of safety culture Three safety culture self-assessments were performed at NEK. Methods used: observation, interview and questionnaire. Last self-assessment was performed in 2013: - 662 employees engaged voluntarily, - correlation was made between results of last two self-assessments for general NEK results and additionally for each department-level, - results were presented to all employees at all levels in organization. When comparing the results of the last two self-assessments, none of the 70 questions showed a negative trend! Next self assessment will be performed in 2018.

Are ALL inputs equally valuable? It is after all additional work… Informal leaders are best representatives, Communicate! Encourage team members to contribute with their own ideas of what input is, We are all one Team working for the same goal, Help them organize: - reminder for monthly reports, - categorization of inputs, - guide don‘t tell
