Introduction Hello my name is Tommy-Tyler Harris I’m 16 years of age born on June 6th 2001. As a photographer, I want my pictures telling a story. I took pictures of what I love doing, and that is gaming and street fashion photographer. Me being a photographer I want my images to stand out and catch the viewer’s eyes. The techniques I use in my photographer is the rule of thirds and leading lines. The connection I want is happiness and joy from my photos, and connection for me is a strong bond towards something or someone, this Is how I want to connect with my viewers. I’m doing my photography on gaming because I want to show my viewers how to connect with It and how you can enjoy life living around the gaming industry.

Photographers I have researched Charlie Waite Joe Cornish Peter Lik Chema Madoz Alvin Langdon Coburn Henri Cartier Bresson

Theme I have chose street Landscape and portrait photography. The theme I’m doing is Gaming. I’m my photography on gaming because I want to show the audience why so many people love it and show the connection of gaming such as showing happiness and joy.

What are digital materials? LO 1 – 1.2 What software might we use when we are working with digital photography and what would you use it for? Can you find three examples of software that can help use with this? Photoshop-Photographers would use Photoshop to edit photos by using filters, brightness to make a perfect image. Canon’s Digital Photo Professional (DPP) is a free, and surprisingly powerful, image organising and editing application that ships in the box with every EOS camera. You’ll find DPP on the EOS Digital Solution Disk alongside other very useful Canon developed software. Create anything you can imagine. Anywhere you are. The world’s best imaging and design app is at the core of almost every creative project. Work across desktop and mobile devices to create and enhance your photographs, web and mobile app designs, 3D artwork, videos, and more.

What are digital materials? LO 1 – 1.2 - USB Stick Reader Disk Paper

To add plan/list of photos LO2 3.1 Shot Type Xbox Controller Xbox, PlayStation Games ( Old and New games) Taking a portrait picture of a person looking concentrated while playing games. Close Up Medium Shot Over the shoulder shot Cut-In Longshots Low Angle Shots High Angle Shots

Connection LO 2 – 2.1

LO3 – 3.1

Final idea LO 3 3.1 Why idea is gaming and I’m going to take various different photos what is gaming related. Why have you chosen this? I have chosen gaming because I can get a reaction of what the picture I’m taking of What do you need to do to achieve this? I can achieve by having a camera, all the gaming objects and my mates. How are you going to create each photo? The location is going to be in a room, going to take a close up picture of my mate concentrating on the game, I’m going to take various of different styles in the arcade. For each photo, we would like you to create a sketch for each. This will help you see your photo. A sketch does not need to be hand drawn, you might find an image on the internet that shows what you want to achieve.

The final photos LO 3 – 3.3

In this photo I took is a close up shot of a young boy playing Xbox, as you can tell I’m telling the audience that at any age you can play and enjoy gaming.

This photography I took is a mid-shot, this image has good lighting and that would draw the viewers in. I took this picture because I want the people in the college to play it and enjoy it that’s what the connection In this photo I want, and you can play on it in the Arcade so I’m trying to get the audience out.

This is a close up shot of the Xbox and the Xbox Controller, in this photo I’m showing is what console I play on and I’m hoping to promote the audience to buy.

This is a longshot of the old games I use to play, this picture is telling the viewers how long I’ve been playing games for.

This photo is a Mid-Shot and a landscape photo This photo is a Mid-Shot and a landscape photo. The technique I’m using is Rule of Thirds, I wanted to use it because I didn’t want the viewers to just focus on the main object, I want the photo to catch the viewer’s eyes. In this photo I took is that I got a person holding a Xbox controller outside, so I’m telling the audience that whenever I go out I’m always doing something gaming related.

This image I took is a longshot type, in this photo there is two people playing a game. I took this picture because I wanted to show the audience people having fun and looking concentrated on the game. I want to show the viewers the connection of joy and happiness.

This is my favourite photo because this image attracts more of the audience in because it uses the rule of thirds and the picture is not just focusing on the main object but it’s focusing on the surroundings. This is my second favourite image I took is because it’s telling the audience that at any age you can associate with gaming. This is my least favourite of the three photos but one of the best of all the photos I taken because it’s a creative and it’s telling the viewers how long I’ve been playing games. The improvement I would make is to have better lighting

Review LO 4 – 4.1EVALUATIONS 1.Hello my name is Tommy-Tyler Harris, as a photographer, I took pictures of what I love doing, and that is gaming. Me being a photographer I want my images to stand out and catch the viewer’s eyes. The connection I want is happiness and joy from my photos, and connection for me is a strong bond towards something or someone, this Is how I want to connect with my viewers. I’m doing my photography on gaming because I want to show my viewers how to connect with It and how you can enjoy life living around the gaming industry. 2. I have various of different shot types, such as close up, medium shot, over the shoulder shot and more. The style of my photos are portrait, the meaning I’m trying to convey is to show gaming in a positive way and my images show why a lot of people enjoy gaming. 3. Evaluation - Jude – one of the main things Jude likes is the creativity of making a circle using the games and then adding the console in the middle, it makes him want to see more. One improvement could that is to add more brightness within the photo and better quality camera. Evaluation – David – He likes the games patterns in one of my photos, he likes the various different of backgrounds and they’re all unique and different settings. He said the improvement I could make is get more pattern photos and get more of my pictures to link. Leasa - I really like the powerful strong close ups it makes a big impact on the subject, Also the picture of the gaming by the beach brings in an abstract feel.

What did you do? I done my photographer on Gaming, mostly took pictures of showing what games I use to play and what I now play. What went well for you and why do you think it did? The shot types I done went well, I used various different shot types, and i took pictures from different angels. I think it went well because my pictures looked the exactly the same from different angels. In one of the photos I used rule of thirds, I took a picture of my mate holding a controller what was the main object but it was not just focusing on that, it was focusing on it surroundings. What did not work as well and why do you think this? What would you improve on and why? I would improve the lighting in my photos because maybe the viewers would not get the real understanding of the image I am taking of. What did you enjoy the most and why? I really enjoyed taking photos what I’m really into, it was really enjoyable going out being a photographer and taking pictures of gaming. What did you enjoy the least and why? The thing I didn’t enjoy is that I had to Sort and organize everything. The other thing I least enjoyed was waiting hours to get a perfect photo of my photography But that’s what it is all about being a photographer. What have you learnt? I have learnt that being a photographer it’s not one take of a picture and done, you have to take your time in the picture you are taking to get the best quality image that would catch the viewers eye. I have learnt a lot of new techniques such as, Leading lines, rule of thirds and composition. Learning these new techniques have got me looking at photography differently. What is your favorite photo and why? This is my favorite photo because it is creative with the patterns in a circle around the console. This shows all the old games and consoles, the photos indicate how long I have been into gaming.

Open questions ideas What do you like about my pictures? And why? What can I improve on? What photo attracts you the most? And why? What’s your least favourite? What can I improve on it? And why?
