Community Features Forums, for conversations with community Ideas, for the sharing of inventiveness Blogs, for logging relevant announcements and articles

Forums Establishes a discussion or support forum on the portal Can be managed from within CRM or via front-side editing A Forum has one or more forum threads

Forum Entity Attributes and Relationships Name Thread Page Template Description Website Parent Page Thread Count Partial URL Post Count Last Post Display Order Publishing State Hidden From Sitemap Forum Page Template

Forum Threads A collection of posts, usually displayed from oldest to latest Can contain any number of posts Users can post multiple times on the same thread Thread can be “pinned” to the top of the forum Provides tracking for popularity and post views

Forum Access Permissions Gives users basic access or enhanced security for a forum Attributes and Relationships Name Forum Right Restrict Read Grant Change

Idea Forum A Forum for managing Ideas Read access to an idea forum can be restricted to certain web roles using the Roles with Read Access relationship.
