Let’s try and construct our own quatrains. It’s always easier to write about something you know and like. For example, it is difficult to write about the politics of Canada. Only ever worry about your first line and move from there. Use previous work to inspire you.

Homework I’m giving you an A4 page. Write down all of the poems that you have created in my classes on that page. If you have missed a day, you don’t have to have that type of poem but I will be extremely impressed if you do. Such an act might be worthy of a good note. If you lose the sheet, find another A4 page. These sheets will be shown to Miss Keenan so keep them tidy.
