Q.R. Codes in the CLassroom Amanda Lambert Harding Elementary

Today’s Goals Create Q.R. codes!!!! Introduce Q.R. codes Ideas for Q.R. implementation in the classroom Create Q.R. codes!!!!

What is a Q.R. code? It is a barcode-like image that stores links or other information, readable by a camera on a smartphone/smart device.

FIRST, Download a QR reader to your device!

Steps to creating H.W. documentation with a QR code. Login into your google account/gafe account. Click on google apps (a.k.a. the waffle) and click onto “DRIVE” Steps to creating H.W. documentation with a QR code.

Creating your google form. Click “NEW” ---> “more” --> choose “Google Forms” Creating your google form.

Customize your form with questions and response options. Create a title, Questions and response types. Customize your form with questions and response options. Then, make sure that your form is NOT restricted to ECESD users only by unclicking the restricted option.

Create your spreadsheet with just two clicks! Click responses -> Click the spreadsheet icon Create your spreadsheet with just two clicks!

Create a link to your form. (QR codes can only work if you have a LINK) Click “SEND” → Click the link option

Click “COPY” in order to copy the shareable link… now it’s time to turn this link into a QR code.

Open up a new tab and go to www.QRstuff.com Paste your link into the “website URL” section “download QR code”

Click on the downloaded QR code and you can choose to: Print the QR code :

OR “make a copy” and save as an image.
