HL Math is a three-year course. Year 1: IB Math 1 (now Pre-HL) Year 2: IB Math HL 1 (Calculus, Vectors, Prep for the IA) Year 3: IB Math HL 2 Advanced Calculus and other topics Completion of the IA (fall) IB exam prep and completion IB Math HL Exam in May, 2017 (students in grade 12 at that time)

Opportunities for College Credit/Course Placement IB Math HL Exam Many universities accept a high score (6 or 7 out of 7) Score includes IA result and May Exam. Bellevue College* Math 152, Fall Quarter Semester 1 Grade Registration available from Mrs. Reinsch (more info soon) *We are working to make sure this is available.

Opportunities for College Credit/Course Placement AP Calculus BC Exam (or AB Exam) Recommended for Juniors Register through the Counseling Center Some additional study needed Exam prep is up to the student May, 2017 Students should check with their target colleges to find out what option is best.
