Resumes Pull out your resume. Identify one section you could improve. Look at the samples provided on P. 5-15 https://www.csusm.edu/careers/careerservices/careerguide.pdf Find a partner and ask them to review your resume and provide feedback for the section you want to improve. Provide feedback to partner. +30 = 1 hour

If you have 10-20 minutes: Update your Cougar JOBS profile and search for paid, part-time or full-time positions. Use Big Interview software to review interview strategies and practice answers. Watch a web shop to build your career skills. 3. If you have 50 minutes: Schedule an in person or virtual appointment with a career counselor to discuss major and career decisions, job search strategies, or graduate school plans. Meet with a career counselor for a resume or cover letter review or mock interview. Attend a career workshop or job or graduate school fair. Career Center Resources

On your device go to the moodle website and check to see if I have your grades entered accurately. Make sure I have not made an error. If I have bring it to my attention before you leave today, so I can make the correction. Five+ points will be deducted if late 3+ times or 2+ absences. Based on the subtotal grade (0-90) you can determine how much effort you need to put into the last assignment… 70-79 = C, 80-89 = B, 90-100 = A You need C+ average to continue in the program. Grades

Website & Social Media Assignment worth 10 points Make sure you have the following complete for website: 1. Professional website url added to the directory. 2. Professional website includes an about me page (biography of you as a teacher) and a recent photo of your face, & resume. 3. Professional website includes classroom management plan. 4. Professional Website includes lesson plan and instructional materials (graphic organizers, rubrics, ppts...). 5. You have a picture of yourself on the cougar course profile. 6. You have been active using social media tools. Show evidence about teaching and learning on your website (twitter quotes, instagram images, pinterest images,...).  +30 = 2 hours
