Use of Administrative Data Sources Financial statements filed with tax authorities All businesses operating in Jamaica are required to file annual returns to Tax Administration Jamaica(TAJ) This takes the form of a financial statement including the detailed schedules STATIN has had a relationship with TAJ for over thirty years that allows STATIN access to the data STATIN staff are based at TAJ offices to extract data on revenue, expenditure and fixed assets

Use of Administrative Data Sources Administrative data on main activity, foreign ownership, Tax Registration Number (TRN) TRN can be used to link with the Business Register Information is used to supplement the annual national accounts surveys, supply and use tables and tourism satellite account
