2 SCOPE The scope is broadly consistent with internationally accepted standards, guidelines. The production boundary and the asset boundary of India’s national accounts are close to the 1993 SNA recommendations India meets the ISWGNA’s minimum requirement for implementation of the 1993 SNA India meets the ISWGNA’s recommended compilations, except for annual supply and use tables

3 COVERAGE Transactions coverage:
The data cover the entire economy; include all activities within SNA production boundary. However, production of goods (other than those in the agriculture, forestry and fishing) within the households for their own final consumption are not included Unrecorded activity Not explicitly accounted for However, due to the procedures adopted for exhaustive measurement (labour input methods, coverage of total area under crops) of GDP, some of these are implicitly accounted for Smuggling and other explicit illegal activities are not directly covered in the GDP

NPISHs) sectors sequence of accounts upto finance account; GDP at basic prices; Cross-classification of output and value added by industry; Cross-classification of value added by industry and institution; Classification of the functions of the government; and Classification of individual consumption according to purpose
