Academic calendar for 2016/17 Teaching block 1 (Autumn) is 12 weeks, as usual Winter vacation is 3 weeks this year Teaching block 2 is also 12 weeks Easter vacation is 2 weeks The resit period is 10th-21st July 2017 The resit coursework submission deadline will be Tuesday 11th July (this needs confirmation) See programme handbooks and Term Dates for more details

HEAR Higher Education Achievement Report An electronic document to record your learning and achievement Will be viewed by employers with your permission As well as details on your qualification includes certain extracurricular achievements ie sports awards, enterprise activities, volunteering etc

Project, Dissertations Engineering students: - Project ML Wendy Fowles-Sweet and EDM Librarian Alastair Sleat Sort out a project and project supervisor and register project with module leader. Check dates for: Interim report due (usually mid term 1) Final report date due (usually just before or just after Easter break) Engineering students note: project supervisor is also your personal tutor
