Please refer to the note coming home tomorrow for your child’s library day. It was great to see many of you at Open House . Please remember to read with your child every night for 30 minutes. Together we can create the love of reading.  READ! READ! READ! Every night for 20-30 minutes “Kindergarten teachers have always known that kids have to believe they can read before they can actually do it….” -Reggie Routman, from Reading Essentials Touch Math We are working on numbers 0-5 as well as learning their touch points. Touch math contains dots and circles on each number. It reinforces number values, eliminates guessing and reduces errors (during addition and subtraction problems).
