Last week, our theme was the letter “Mm” and meeting new friends. Although it was a short week, we were able to do many fun letter Mm activities. We learned identification, sound, and formation of the letter Mm. Our group was also introduced to the word “my” which will be our sight word in our classroom readers this week. We had fun using magnets to find hidden objects in boxes of rice, making magnet wand faces, and moving metallic objects with magnet wands. In Math, we practiced counting, identifying, and writing the numbers Our group also made sets of objects to count the numbers 1-4.
