The phone rings, and you answer the phone. Receive the call. Inform the caller: Dr. Eren not there. Tell the caller: Dr. Eren at a conference, be back at 5 o’clock. Take the caller’s message. Ask the caller’s phone number and finish the call. You call your faculty, and you want to talk to your advisor. Introduce yourself. Ask: You want talk to your advisor, Dr. Eren.  Tell the secretary about the situation: You  call four times, leave messages. She  not call back. Ask the secretary: the time she will be back? Leave a message: you  need her signature on your Erasmus application. Leave your phone number and finish the call.

You are stressed because you are not happy in your dormitory and in Ankara because you are always bored. Talk to the student counselor about your problem. Tell him/her your problem. You are a volunteer for the student counseling center at your university and a student applies because s/he is stressed. Ask him/her about his/her problem. Give him/her some advice. Tell him/her to visit you some time later.

Ask questions about his smoking habit, exercise routine, and diet. Give some advice. Respond to his/her final words. TASK6

Tell him/her not to worry and have a rest. You are really sick. You go to a doctor. Explain your health problems (terrible cough and pain) Answer the doctor’s question: in your arms and legs Tell: since last week Answer all of the questions the doctor asks. Ask: need an X-ray? Thank the doctor. TASK7
