Important Facts The location of the country within the continent is central Africa Chad’s capital is N’Djamena Official languages are French and Arabic Population of the country is roughly 735,000 plus The religions of the country are Muslim ,Catholic, Protestant, Animist and others

Geography Africa is Chad's mainland The mountains in Chad are Tibesti mountain, the highest peak is Tibesti’s Emi Koussi Chad is a landlocked country with neighbors of: Sudan, Egypt, Libya, Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Central African Republic Water sources are Lake Chad, Logone river, and Chari River In months June to October there is abundant rain and in months December to February it is warm and sunny

Key Dates Chad's national holidays are New Years Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, and Presidents Day which are all celebrated yearly Christian holidays include Easter and Christmas Other minor holidays are Aid al Firt and International Women's Day 1979 is an important day for its history because that was the year a civil war started

Famous Tourist attractions Chad is an extremely poor country with dry and hot land. People are dying and hurting everyday from lack of shelter, food, medication, and water. There really isn't much to see. Which gives it a reason to be more visited. Many famous people go there to help out and keep people in comfort. They bring food, toys, cloths, medication, etc.
