Focus Group Meeting 2 15 September 2011 Geneva ITU-T Focus Group on Audiovisual Media Accessibility (FG AVA) Peter Olaf Looms Chairman FG-AVA International Telecommunication Union

FG AVA Vision From AVA-I-0002: Suggested objectives and procedures for the first Focus Group meeting December 2012. FG AVA has successfully completed its work. The FG AVA roadmap with accessibility actions provides a solid basis for future work by the ITU and other key constituents. The roadmap gives concrete examples of good practice. It shows how the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD) can be applied to the delivery, use and enjoyment of digital AV media. Persons with disabilities and their organizations feel that the Focus Group has made a difference. International Telecommunication Union
