Please sign behavior chart each day. Brag Tags – given by Mrs. Lewis ,student wear them on necklaces Homework- Math Calendar four days out of the week . Time in class to complete Wednesday. Turn in calendar on Friday. All other homework due daily.

Follows district pacing guide Focuses on improving reading skills in a variety of genres and situations.

Language Arts skills are taught during writers workshop and Guided Reading. Students are focusing on being able to apply language arts skills (Capitalization, punctuation, spelling) ect in their daily writing.

Writing is taught in a writers workshop which includes mini lessons over writing skills and a daily opportunity to practice writing with the opportunity to share their writing with others.

Social Studies is integrated into daily reading and language arts instruction. We will be focusing on Mississippi history and geography. Your child will also be learning all 50 states and their capitols this year.
