We will be reading stories called Tomas Rivera and Life Then & Now. We will be focusing on finding the sequence of events and using context clues. Our essential question will be, Why is it important to learn about people from the past?
Phonics/Spelling:

The students received a Six Flags Read to Succeed Note last week, Please keep track of anytime when your child reads, and record the time spent reading on this form.! The form is due February 12. Students who complete their form indicating 360 minutes of reading will receive a free ticket to Six Flags Great America,

Homework always goes home on the first day of the week and is due on the last day, Homework should be signed by an adult, If your chld does nor turn in their homework it is an automatic red day ! Please send a noteif if you need more time or if something comes up.
All-Star Behavior Report
These reports serve as a form of communication between parents & myself on students behavior each day, & serve as a way to keep track of students monthly behavior.
Students will be rewarded each month for
receiving 15 or more green/blue/purple/pink stars. Therefore, it is important that parents look for these reports in students blue folders EVERY DAY, then Sign &
return the reports each night.
By signing & returning the
behavior form, you are
verifying that you have seen it.
Students who do not return
their blue folder/report,
will Clip down on the behavior chart.
