#1 Eat right 1. Always eat breakfast 2. Don’t skip meals 3. Eat colorful foods 4. No Legs, Two Legs, or Four Legs (?) 5. Explore your options in our Dinning Hall 6. If you buy your groceries: Shop from the Perimeter 7. Just eat healthy more days than you don’t

#2 EXERCISE 1. 30 minutes a day (JUST MOVE) 2. Take advantage of our new Wellness Center 3. Find an exercise friend 4. Take an Activity Course for your Physical Education requirement 5. Join ABAC Intramurals

#3 GET enough sleep 1. Get in a sleep routine as soon as possible! 2. 7-9 hours a night 3. Buy good sheets (bedding), memory foam, etc.

#4 wash your hands often 1. Germs are Everywhere!! (desks, keyboards, etc.) 2. People who wash their hands are sick less (It’s a Fact!)

#5 don’t smoke (or dip) 1. #1 preventable behavior that attributes to 8 of the top 10 leading causes of DEATH! 2. Don’t give in to “Peer Pressure”

#6 don’t live off caffeine and sugar drinks 1. Will lift you UP, but will cause you to CRASH! 2. A little in moderation is ok, but don’t use it for daily functioning

#7 drink plenty of water 1. Most important nutrient to consume 2. How much should you drink?

#8 manage your stress 1. Emotional health is just as important as physical health 2. Find time in your day to just relax. (Find some “ME” time) 3. Stay “Positive” 4. Disconnect from you phone each day (give yourself a break) 5. Ask for HELP!

#9 Choose New friends wisely 1. You are in control of who your new friends will be.

#10 so many more to add………….. 1. Alcohol (In Moderation) 2. Safe Sex 3. Drive SLOW on our campus 4. AT NIGHT - Walk across campus with a friend (never alone) 5. Find new friends that will lift you up; NOT down 6. Join a Club 7. READ YOUR CLASS SYLLABUS before you go to class the first day. (TAKE A PEN AND PAPER TO CLASS EACH DAY) 8. Sit in front of the class (You only have one chance to make a FIRST IMPRESSION) 9. Learn how to manage your time as soon as possible. 10. Go to Health Center when you are sick! 11. LAUGH AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!
