1st Slide – Topic and Initial Thoughts On this slide, you should state the big topic you are addressing and begin to explain your thought process in your first few meetings of your group.

2nd slide – Your Group’s Thought Process Explain what you considered about the novel to reach your conclusion/thesis What were your discussions? What did you rule out? What path did your conversations follow to reach your thesis? BE THOROUGH AND CLEAR!

3rd Slide – Thesis and Explanation State your thesis clearly. Though your thesis should be clear already, explain how those ideas you considered (previous slide) connect with what you’re arguing.

4th Slide – Topic Sentence & Any Quotations Provide a quotation or passage from OFK or a context for discussion. Give us your reading. Explain how this quotation / scene / paragraph proves suggests a message from White that aligns with your thesis.
