4 Conclusions Conclusions:
Why was it important that your reader understands the argument as being true? Why was it SIGNIFICANT to argue this point? What conclusions can we take from it? (Not for lit.): Suggest further point of study If this argument is true, we need to further study…

5 For Literature (Theme Argument)
Addresses why the author wants his readers to understand this theme/message. Questions to ask yourself: Why does the author want us to understand this theme to be true? (If we understand it, this will be the result) What are the implications if we DON’T understand this theme as being true? (If we don’t listen to his message, this will happen)

6 Structure and Content We may briefly restate our theme just to remind our reader of the condensed theme which we’ve proved is present in the literature. From there, there should be very little to no more plot discussion. Talk abstractly about the implication of the theme (all on a “Y” level, very little to no “X”)
