Activating Prior Knowledge Have you heard the word circle? The root circ means “around.” Can you see the root cycl in bicycle? The root cycl means “revolving.” What revolves on a bicycle? A and B share their thoughts. Teacher calls on 2-3 non-volunteers to share their thoughts.
