Media Foundation Course. It is essential that you use and understand the “key concepts” and terminology when studying GCSE Media. The following modules will introduce you to the key elements of the syllabus and provide you with a basic critical toolkit to describe and analyse both print and moving media texts.

READING MEDIA TEXTS. The media constructs a version of reality… for the audience. The media student analyses, or deconstructs, what has already been put together in order to see how it works or how to make sense of it.
