characters A character is a person or creature that interacts with others within a story. There are different kinds of characters in stories, and different ways to describe them.

Vocabulary Brainstorming: A group problem-solving technique. Flattened: to make (something) flat or flatter. Frantically: To behave in an uncontrolled manner. Gracious: Being kind, thoughtful and aware of others.
