Welcome to Science With Mrs. Kronberger

A little background on Mrs. Rose Marie Kronberger Degrees Earned: Associate of Science in Human Development - Special Education - Gloucester County College (1980-1982) Bachelors of Science in Special Education - Bloomsburg University (1983-1985) 27th year teaching at Delsea Middle School Resident of Franklinville since 1987.

Program Purpose The Physical and Life Science courses at DMS are designed to provide the students with a basic foundation of knowledge required for high school. The science programs will: 1. prepare the students to think scientifically. 2. increase the student’s perception of the concepts of science as they relate to the world in which they live. 3. develop the student’s ability to think and reason critically. 4. expose students to science careers and current events. 5. increase the student’s awareness of technology related to science.

Grading Policy and Supplies School Policy Dictates that your child will be assessed using two categories. They are weighted as follows: 70% -Assessment 30% - Homework/Classwork/Lab All science students will need the following materials for science this school year: a two inch binder, dividers, one folder, loose- leaf paper, index cards, 2 highlighters and a large supply of pencils and erasers.

Procedures, Responsibilities and Expectations Come to class prepared to learn. Have your binder, homework, and writing instrument. Be responsible for your work. If you are absent, see me the day you return for any missed assignments. Complete all assignments and prepare for assessments. Work safely in labs. Be polite to all members of our team. This includes, but is not limited to, your teacher, classmates, classroom guests, and substitutes. Work to the best of your ability.

Mrs. Kronberger’s Expectations are very simple: Be prepared Be respectful Work safely Try your very best! Follow these simple guidelines and you will do just fine in science! 
