Macromizer wheel base notes: Requirements: Total height must not exeed 3.59” (91.3 mm) in order to fit beneath plate. Weight capacity must be >= 330 lbs. Preferences: Soft wheel material to absorb shock while in transit. Largest wheel possible to minimize rolling obstruction issues. Roller bearings for smoother movement / reduced static friction under load. Total height should be as close to 3.59” as possible to minimize tilt of instrument. Options: Faultless Business Machine Casters (p88) 2.5 x 1.75in. wheels, polypropylene material (60D hardness), roller bearing, 400lb. load rating, 3.5in. total height Cart King Casters – Dual Wheel (p1212) 2x(2.0 x 0.875in.) wheels, neoprene (78A hardness), plain/roller/ball bearings, 350lb. load rating, 3.25in. total height McMaster-Carr Low-Mount Turret Casters (p1216) 2x(2.0 x 0.56in.) wheels, polyurethane on iron (95A hardness), plain bore (no bearings), 350lb. load rating, 2.5in. total height McMaster-Carr Huron Casters (p1210) 2.5 x 1.125in. wheels, polypropylene (60D), plain self-lube bearings or plain bore, 220lb. load rating, 3.1875in. total height Huron Jr. Casters (p1217) 2.5 x 1.125in. wheels, solid rubber (75A), plain bore (no bearings), 100lb. load rating, 3.1875in. total height Macromizer Leveling Mount Notes Total height must exceed 114mm / 4.49in. (gives 1cm above aluminum plate). Soft pads to maximize shock absorption. Swivel pads to allow for angle compensation and floor irregularities. Recommended: Swivel Leveling Mount with Vibration Damping Pad (p1247) 3/8”-16 thread size, 1.875 in. pad diameter, 995lb. max load, 0.050” deflection @ max load, cloth/rubber laminate pad. Specify longer bolt, dimension B must be >= 4.5”
