Theatre Careers

Puts together financing, management, publicity, and artistic teams. Producer Puts together financing, management, publicity, and artistic teams.

Production Manager On-site manager of all resources including: personnel, budget, logistics etc…

Director Responsible for the artistic interpretation of the play. Must have the central, unifying vision for the play.

Director Tasks include: script interpretation, look of the show, auditions, casting, and rehearsals.

Stage Manager Director’s backstage liaison. Must be able to direct “live” action including scene changes and problem solving. Key to a well0-run show.

Business Manager Responsible for fund-raising, publicity, ticket sales, programs, and paying bills.
