Eclipse HX System Overview

PANELS, MATRICES AND INTERFACES Eclipse HX Pico 36 port Matrix in 1U V24PDX4 2U 24 keys with 8xShift I-Station panel 1U 32 key modular with active display Modular Interfaces are modular and allow connection to: Camera Comms, Telephone PBX, 4-wire, Radio, Party-Line, AES-3 Matrix card interfaces for E1, Fibre, FreeSpeak, IP etc Eclipse HX HX-Omega 16 to 240 port matrix in 6U 2

GENERAL FEATURES Proven pedigree and reliability from many years use in Live Productions, Broadcast and M.A.G. Flexible and powerful Digital Audio and Control. Fast and intuitive operator control surfaces. Intercom Panels offer a variety of features and costs depending on individual needs. Simple 4 pair cable connection to stations (CAT5), up to 1km (over half a mile). High quality 22 kHz audio bandwidth. Quick and easy to reconfigure using HX – even live. 3

GENERAL FEATURES Matrix sizes range from 16x16 to 240x240 in sizes from 1U to 6U. Transparent Networking of matrices can give up to 1024 ports. Modular construction allows for Expandability and ease of Maintenance. Comprehensive Back-up and Redundancy options offer a further level of security. Interfacing available to Telephone systems, Camera comms, Wireless, ISDN, Fibre, IP, E1 or other matrix types. Unrivalled Technical Support service. 4

NETWORK SYSTEMS Networks. Eclipse HX matrices can connect in an intelligent network, to give very large and distributed coverage over great distances using LAN, WAN, IP, E1 or Fibre Reliability. Connection links can be duplicated for automatic route backup. This also includes the standard AC and CPU redundancy that is inbuilt Operationally the network is transparent to users. Maintainability. Either central PC control or local users can access their individual matrices. This gives great benefit to system maintainability and local configuration control. IP and TRUNK line redundancy provides robustness against failure in another part of the network. 5
