PIKA Technologies’ fully customizable PBX Platform

Agenda PIKA Corporate Overview Introduction to PIKA WARP Appliance Appliance Solutions vs. “PC + Voice Card” Solutions WARP for Asterisk ® / FreePBX ® GSM configurations and applications Where to get more information

PIKA Overview 22+ years in telephony hardware Primary business is CT Cards Major customers include STRONG focus on quality and customer service Head Office: Ottawa, Canada

PIKA Overview – WARP WARP appliance was designed with input from our Customers 120+ developers globally working with the WARP appliance today including: IP PBX developers IVR developers Gateway developers Logging developers Cable Companies Service Providers

Introducing WARP the appliance PIKA WARP the Appliance is a small, low cost development platform that can be used to deploy telephony based applications using Linux and/or Asterisk/FreePBX in (SOHO) small office/home office or (SMB/SME) small/medium Business/Enterprise markets.

Introducing WARP the appliance PIKA WARP the Appliance is a small, low cost development platform that can be used to deploy telephony based applications using Linux and/or Asterisk/FreePBX in small office/home office (SOHO) and small/medium Enterprise (SME) markets. Unlike typical PC + board alternatives, the appliance eliminates hardware and software integration issues in a reliable, solid state and brandable form factor and includes traditional hardware based telephony features.

“PC + Card” versus Appliance

“PC + Cards” versus Appliance Component churn – every 9 (?) months results in increased procurement /integration/testing costs Purpose built, stable telephony platform

“PC + Cards” versus Appliance Component churn – every 9 (?) months results in increased procurement /integration/testing costs Purpose built, stable telephony platform Greater integration effort (cards & drivers, choosing components and building PC) Integration done by PIKA (expansion modules, Linux/Asterisk/FreePBX)

“PC + Cards” versus Appliance Component churn – every 9 (?) months results in increased procurement /integration/testing costs Purpose built, stable telephony platform Greater integration effort (cards & drivers, choosing components and building PC) Integration done by PIKA (expansion modules, Linux/Asterisk/FreePBX) Stigma: PC not as reliable as a proprietary PBX Purpose built for telephony, solid state, more reliable

GSM Applications Cost savings with Least Cost Routing (LCR) calls between landline and GSM or between different GSM networks can be very expensive

GSM Applications Cost savings with Least Cost Routing (LCR) Save $$ by routing calls over WARP GSM

GSM Applications Trunk backup Should the landline or IP network go down, GSM can be used as a cost effective backup

GSM Applications Landline Displacement Revenue Generation for wireless carriers New customer type for Asterisk developers Build incremental traffic on wireless network by displacing traditional telephone company landlines

GSM Applications Landline Displacement WARP with GSM trunk connectivity provides a unique small/medium business telephone system option.

GSM Applications Remote and Temporary Installations Install business telephone systems in remote areas where traditional, wired telephone lines may not be available, or may have long lead times and high costs for installation..

GSM Applications SMS Notification Increased Productivity by not having to continually check for new voicemails

GSM Applications SMS Notification Emergency Notification

Green Friendly Uses 18 times less energy than a PC with boards power supply – low power usage 20 w = 175 kwh per year versus 350 w / 3000 kwh per year for PC with boards 10 times less end-of-life disposal space 100% lead free enviro-safe paint outer packaging is 100% recycled materials
