What is World Peace Day ? International Day of Peace, or Peace Day, is held on 21st September every year. In 2001 the countries of the United Nations adopted the day and declared it a day of global ceasefire and non-violence, and over the years since then it has become more widely known

The first Peace Day was held in 1982 The first Peace Day was held in 1982. In 2001 the countries of the United Nations adopted the day and fixed the date. Many nations, military groups and political organisations observe the day. It has been declared a day of global ceasefire and non-violence. Humanitarian aid is provided to people living in war zones. At the start of the day the United Nations Peace Bell is rung at the United Nations Headquarters in New York A gift from Japan, the bell was cast from coins donated by children and it carries the inscription "Long live absolute world peace".

What can you do to make peace in our school?

What can you do to make peace at home?

Children’s Rights Children have the right to relax and play. to life. Children have the right to enough medicine, food and clean water to stay healthy. The child’s needs should come first. Children affected by war should get help. Children have the right to education

A though for all of us Here in our school Let us be peaceful at all times. Let our rooms be full of happiness and respect for each other. Let love be in our hearts With kindness and compassion for all. Let us remember In learning together, We grow together And succeed together.
