(Tit 2:14) Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The kinds of servant in the N. T. “doulos” Slave (Rom 1:1) Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, “diakonos” waiter “deacon” (Joh 12:2) There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. “huperetes” under oarsmen (1Co 4:1) Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
