2 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Review:
Question 1: Are you ESTABLISHED in the Word of God? Question 2: Do you love anyone MORE than Jesus Christ? Question 3: Do you follow Christ UNCONDITIONALLY? Question 4: Do you love Christ more than POSSESSIONS?

4 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 5: Are you useful to the Lord Jesus Christ? We exist to serve our King, The Lord Jesus Christ, not to live as we want or feel.

5 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Luke 14:34-35 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

6 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 5: Are you useful to the Lord Jesus Christ? True disciples live for Jesus’ purposes! Exodus 8:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me. Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

7 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 5: Are you useful to the Lord Jesus Christ? True disciples live for Jesus’ purposes! True disciples live in light of the Judgment Seat of Christ.

8 LIVING FOR SELF / TIME = DEPRESSION
Proverbs 18:2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

9 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 5: Are you useful to the Lord Jesus Christ? Being useful results in being fruitful for Christ. Mark 11:12-14 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

10 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 6: Are you bearing fruit for the Lord Jesus Christ?

11 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

12 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 6: Are you bearing fruit for the Lord Jesus Christ? Disciples will bear fruit by showing others salvation in Christ.

13 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

14 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 6: Are you bearing fruit for the Lord Jesus Christ? Disciples will bear fruit by showing others salvation in Christ. Disciples will glorify God by bearing fruit in their own life.

15 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Philippians 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

16 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 7: Do you love the Lord Jesus Christ’s people?

17 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

18 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Question 7: Do you love the Lord Jesus Christ’s people? True disciples of Jesus love His people more than they love themselves. 1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. True disciples of Jesus will pursue relationships within the body of Christ. Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Ephesians 4:1-3; I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

21 ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? Ephesians 4:1-3; I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
