Materials Required A Composition book exclusively for this class. This interactive notebook will be required every day. Pens and pencils Colored pencils Glue stick Highlighters

Classroom Expectations I have high expectations for each student, and will do the best I can to help you reach them. I expect you to come to class prepared to work, respect others and their property, speak with appropriate language, and do not eat or drink in the classroom.

Grading Criteria Grading is based on 60% classwork/homework/projects, and 40% tests and quizzes. It is every students responsibility to maintain an organized notebook that shows your scores. Schoology is an easy way to keep track of your points. Please check often to confirm points are correct.

Attendance If you are absent, you must ask for the make-up work before or after class and do it on your own time. Make-up work is for excused absences, otherwise there is NO LATE WORK ACCEPTED FOR FULL CREDIT.  SAN PEDRO HIGH SCHOOL ATTENDANCE POLICY A. A maximum of 7 full day absences/28 TOTAL class period absences are allowed during the current school year. B. At the 8th full day absence and/or 29th class period absence, FOR ANY REASON, the student’s name will appear on the Non-Participation STOP CLEARANCE LIST.

SCHOOLOGY Please set up an account with a working (and frequently checked)email address and phone number, as I send many mass messages and updates home through this site.

I look forward to a great year with your student!
